TWO JUVENILES IN CONFLICT WITH THE LAW DETAINED

ARA---------------------------The Bhojpur Police have achieved another significant success in strengthening law and order and curbing the morale of criminals. Within just 24 hours, the police have successfully solved a sensational shooting incident that occurred on the night of October 20–21 in the Maulabagh area, under the jurisdiction of the Ara Nawada Police Station. In this brazen attack, a young man named Amarjit Kumar sustained a gunshot wound and was promptly rushed to the hospital. Through swift, technically-driven action, the Bhojpur Police succeeded in detaining two juveniles in conflict with the law, recovering the illegal pistol used in the incident.

According to reports, the Maulabagh neighborhood was jolted late last Friday night by a sudden burst of gunfire. Amarjit Kumar was critically injured in the incident and was immediately admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the district police administration mobilized, forming special teams to conduct a thorough investigation.

Preliminary police investigations reveal that the shooting is rooted in a deep-seated, long-standing enmity linked to the high-profile murder case of Adarsh ​​Kumar. Police records indicate that Amarjit Kumar—the victim in this latest incident—is himself a named accused in the Adarsh ​​Kumar murder case (Ara Nawada Police Station Case No. 174/26) and is currently out on bail. It is alleged that Amarjit and his brother murdered Adarsh ​​Kumar—who was their cousin—by ​​shooting him. This latest attack is believed to be a consequence of that ongoing feud.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team from the Nawada station arrived at the scene immediately and took control of the situation. Given the gravity of the case, a specialized team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) was summoned to the scene; they collected various crucial pieces of scientific evidence as well as fingerprints.

Acting swiftly under the direction of the Bhojpur Superintendent of Police, the police took two juveniles in conflict with the law into custody, based on their alleged involvement. During a search, a lethal pistol—believed to have been used in the incident—and a motorcycle were recovered from them. The police are now initiating further necessary legal proceedings.
