BHABHUA--------------------------In a high-profile murder case involving a young man in the district, the accused—who were released on bail—have been accused of threatening the victim's family with death. The deceased's relatives met the Mohania DSP to plead for protection and action regarding the matter. It is worth noting that on March 17, 2026, a young man named Raja was beaten to death in Pusauli, within the Kudra police station area. An FIR was lodged against a total of nine individuals by the deceased's family. Acting on the case, the police had arrested six of the accused. The victim's family alleges that these six arrested individuals have been released after securing bail from the court. Since then, associates of the accused have allegedly been threatening the victim's family with death, creating an atmosphere of fear. Sita Devi, a relative of the deceased, stated that her son was beaten to death, and now, following the accused's release on bail, the entire family is receiving death threats. She has demanded protection and further action from the police administration. Meanwhile, Mohania DSP Gopal Krishna confirmed that an FIR had been registered against nine accused in the murder case—six of whom were arrested—and acknowledged that the victim's family had approached him. He stated that the matter would be investigated, and necessary action would be taken.
