ARA------------------------The birth anniversary of the enlightened saint Goswami Tulsidas was celebrated in the auditorium of Badi Mathiya. The event was presided over by Mahant Ramkinkar Das and inaugurated by Prof. Baliraj Thakur, President of the Bhojpur District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan and a Senator at VKSU. In his inaugural address, Prof. Baliraj Thakur remarked that the advent of Tulsidas was nothing short of a miracle. He suggested that one should read Tulsidas to discover the right path for living a life grounded in righteousness and propriety. His words served as a powerful tool that empowered a despondent society—a source of strength that continues to resonate today. Tulsidas's *Ramcharitmanas* is a work centered on moral teachings, conveying the message that "there is no virtue greater than benevolence towards others." It inspires people to stand up against oppressors. Acharya Bharatbhushan Pandey stated that the words of Goswami Tulsidas Maharaj possess a universal and timeless impact; he was a harbinger of national consciousness and a thinker dedicated to the welfare of the world. The Acharya described Goswami-ji as a confluence of saintliness, literature, and devotion to Lord Rama. Dr. Nandji Dubey shed detailed light on the history of Tulsidas's literature. The program was conducted by Madheshwar Nath Pandey, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Satyanarayan Upadhyay. Jagdeep Narayan Ojha, Radha Prasad Pathak, Suresh Bhojpuri, Dr. Sheelbhadra, Triloki Nath Singh, Shyamanandan Tiwari, and Shashikant Tiwari also shared their views.
