BHABHUA-------------------------In a major move as part of a special campaign against narcotics smuggling, the police have arrested two accused individuals wanted in four cases of heroin smuggling. The arrested individuals have been identified as Sadyam Gaddi and Azad Ansari (alias Kallu Miyan), both residents of Islamganj Ward No. 15 under the Mohania police station area. Both accused were arrested from Bhabhua on October 5, 2026, during a campaign conducted under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police. According to the police, the two had been absconding for a long time, and multiple cases related to heroin smuggling are registered against them at the Kudra, Mohania, and Chainpur police stations. The police stated that both accused were wanted in connection with several NDPS Act cases, including Chainpur Police Station Case No. 392/26. Following their arrest, proceedings are underway to produce them before the court. Police records indicate that five cases under the NDPS Act are registered against Sadyam Gaddi at the Mohania, Kudra, and Chainpur police stations, while Azad Ansari, alias Kallu Miyan, also faces multiple charges related to heroin smuggling.
