BHABHUA------------------------Resentment is mounting among devotees and local residents regarding the recovery of jewelry stolen from the historic Maa Durga Temple in Bhabua town. People are aggrieved that, even five days after the incident, the stolen jewelry has not yet been recovered. Demands to resolve the matter before the onset of the Sharadiya Navratri festival are intensifying. Locals state that the Maa Durga Temple is a major center of faith for the region, and there is a tradition of special prayers, rituals, and the grand adornment of the Goddess during Navratri. Consequently, the theft of the temple's jewelry and the delay in its recovery are hurting the religious sentiments of the devotees.
