BUXAR-------------------------A Mehndi competition was organized for students at the Urdu Primary School in Khiri, located in the Rajpur block. Students from classes 3, 4, and 5 participated enthusiastically, showcasing their artistic skills and creative talent. Through their Mehndi designs, the children conveyed messages regarding water and environmental conservation.

During the competition, alongside attractive Mehndi patterns, the children inscribed meaningful and inspiring messages on their palms, such as "Save Water, Save Life," "One Tree in Mother's Name" (Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam), and "Water-Life-Greenery" (Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali). These designs served to spread awareness about saving water, planting more trees, and protecting the environment.

Shabnam Khatoon secured first place in the competition, while Khwahish Parveen and Nuresha Khatoon took second and third places, respectively. Teachers praised the creativity of all participants—including the winners—and encouraged them.

School Headmaster Dhananjay, Senior Teacher Saulat Mahmood Khan, and teachers Gaurav Yaduvanshi, Jamshed Alam, Shamshad Alam, Shaista Parveen, and Javed Khan were present on the occasion.

Headmaster Dhananjay stated that such creative activities foster an interest in art and self-confidence in children, while also raising awareness about water and environmental conservation. He emphasized that, alongside academics, it is essential to connect children with social and environmental causes.

Held in an enthusiastic and inspiring atmosphere, the competition served as a powerful medium for children to showcase their talent while simultaneously conveying the message of environmental conservation to the community.
