PATNA---------------------------Union Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha patron Jitan Ram Manjhi’s health suddenly deteriorated on Sunday evening. He was admitted to the emergency department of AIIMS, New Delhi, following breathing difficulties and a high fever.

Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's health is now reported to be better than before. He had been admitted to AIIMS, Delhi, due to a drop in platelet count and is currently undergoing treatment under medical supervision. Manjhi's advisor, Rizwan Danish, stated that his condition has improved, and the process of moving him out of the ICU has begun. Following a confirmed diagnosis of dengue, his platelet count had dropped to approximately 35,000.

A new update regarding Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's health has emerged. His advisor, Rizwan Danish, confirmed that tests have revealed Manjhi is suffering from dengue. He alleged that during his treatment at Medanta Hospital in Patna, accurate information regarding the illness was not provided, and there was negligence in the testing process. According to Danish, the dengue diagnosis was confirmed only after a re-examination in Delhi. By that time, Manjhi's platelet count had fallen to around 35,000, prompting his immediate admission to AIIMS, Delhi.

Upon admission to AIIMS, Delhi, doctors placed him in the ICU given his condition. A medical team was continuously monitoring his health, and he underwent treatment involving platelet transfusions. His condition is now reported to be improving. Advisor Rizwan Danish stated that the Union Minister is doing better, and the process to transfer him out of the ICU is underway.

The Union Minister's advisor, Rizwan Danish, also raised questions regarding the handling of the case at Medanta Hospital in Patna. He alleged that the situation would not have become so critical had the correct tests and treatment been administered in a timely manner. He stated that once Jitan Ram Manjhi recovers, a response would be sought from the Medanta Hospital administration after consulting on the matter. According to Rizwan Danish, a test conducted in Patna had confirmed dengue, yet the doctors did not treat it. However, there has been no response from the hospital administration regarding these allegations so far.

Concern had mounted among Jitan Ram Manjhi's supporters and party workers after news of his admission to AIIMS emerged. A large number of people were wishing for his speedy recovery.
