The Vedas show the path to knowledge, life values, and the preservation of Indian culture. India can become a *Vishwa-Guru* (world teacher) only by incorporating the principles of the Vedas into daily life. ARA-------------------------The Vedas show the path to knowledge, life values, and the preservation of Indian culture. India can become a *Vishwa-Guru* (world teacher) only by incorporating the principles of the Vedas into daily life. These views were expressed on Friday by Acharya Dharmendra Tiwari, Patron of the Sanatani Ganga Foundation and former Vice-Chancellor of Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara.

A 'Vedic Diwas' (Vedic Day) celebration was organized under the aegis of the Sanatani Ganga Foundation, Bhojpur, at the Jubilee Hall of 'Shanti Smriti' Sambhavna Residential High School, located in Shubh Narayan Nagar, Majhauwa. The event was presided over by Dr. Archana Singh, President of the Foundation and Principal of Sambhavna Residential High School.

The program was inaugurated through the joint lighting of a ceremonial lamp by the chief guest Acharya Dharmendra Tiwari, President Dr. Archana Singh, General Secretary Shambhu Chaurasia, Secretary Dr. Krishna Kumar, Ram Kumar Singh, and Ram Anuj Singh. Female students of the school commenced the event by presenting Vedic songs.

On this occasion, Dr. Archana Singh honored the chief guest, Acharya Dharmendra Tiwari, by presenting him with an *Angavastra* (ceremonial stole).

Chief guest Acharya Dharmendra Tiwari stated that the Vedas represent the path of knowledge and fundamental truth. They inspire individuals to become better human beings. He emphasized that to establish India as a *Vishwa-Guru*, it is essential to integrate the core principles of the Vedas into one's life.

Emphasizing environmental conservation, he noted that human life depends on nature and the environment. The Vedas outline a tradition of protecting trees and nature; one should not tamper with nature. He urged everyone to adopt the spirit of peace regarding the cosmos, the earth, and vegetation—as described in Vedic mantras—into their lives.

Acharya Tiwari remarked that in today's times, people are forgetting to express gratitude towards others. We must maintain a sense of gratitude in our lives and understand our obligations towards society.

In her presidential address, Dr. Archana Singh stated that the Vedas are a repository of knowledge for human life. These encompass Indian culture, traditions, and a glorious history. He remarked that the four Vedas provide a way of life for humanity.

Highlighting the Indian tradition of knowledge, Dr. Singh noted that India possessed a rich legacy of knowledge and science long before the advent of modern science. He urged the students to learn about their glorious history and cultural heritage.

To mark 'Vedic Diwas' (Vedic Day), a speech competition on the theme 'Vedic Knowledge and Modern Science' was organized for the students. A drawing competition was also held alongside it.

In the speech competition, Aradhya Kumari secured the first position, Hardik Anand the second, and Shivam Kumar Tiwari the third. Meanwhile, in the drawing competition, Vani Kumari stood first, Shravani Kumari second, and Radhika Kumari third.

Chief Guest Acharya Dharmendra Tiwari and Principal Dr. Archana Singh honored the winning students with mementos.

The event was conducted by Anand Kumar, Media In-charge of the Sanatani Ganga Foundation, while the vote of thanks was proposed by the Foundation's Secretary, Dr. Krishna Kumar. At the conclusion of the program, a tribute was paid to the renowned singer Ravindra Jain on his death anniversary.

Attendees at the ceremony included Sandeep Kumar, Vikas Kumar Singh, Ram Anuj Singh, Vishnu Shankar, Pratima Singh, Ramayan Upadhyay, and Dr. Dinesh Prasad Sinha from the Sanatani Ganga Foundation, along with the school's teachers and students.
