INCIDENT AGAINST REPORTERS IS NOT JUST
-If reporters shouldn't face this or that—then tell me, what *should* happen? A crowd belongs to no one in particular. Whenever a protest takes place in this country, the people who show up are those disgruntled with the government. And when the media acts like the government's 'domestic help,' how can protesters trust them to portray the demonstration accurately? This isn't the first time this has happened; Shaheen Bagh, the farmers' protest, and the wrestlers' protest are just a few examples.

ARA------------------------If reporters shouldn't face this or that—then tell me, what *should* happen? A crowd belongs to no one in particular. Whenever a protest takes place in this country, the people who show up are those disgruntled with the government. And when the media acts like the government's 'domestic help,' how can protesters trust them to portray the demonstration accurately? This isn't the first time this has happened; Shaheen Bagh, the farmers' protest, and the wrestlers' protest are just a few examples.
What’s more, Chitra sits here in the studio labeling these youngsters as 'aggressors.' She has been echoing the exact same narrative Rajnath Singh voiced yesterday. So, if a reporter from her channel goes to the ground, how can they expect *not* to face opposition? Just tell me that. Other media teams have been present at Jantar Mantar for 25 days; not a single person opposed them, nor was there any incident of physical assault. You need to figure out for yourselves why this is happening specifically to you.
Instead of looking for faults in others, look for your own. A large section of this country is angry with the media. The silver lining is that they get opportunities to express this resentment from time to time; otherwise, the day this anger erupts all at once, the country's media won't be able to sleep peacefully.
