BUXAR---------------------------Police have intensified action regarding allegations of sexual misconduct with minor female students and other serious charges at a middle school in Dumraon block. Acting on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya and based on the statement of the victim's mother, an FIR has been registered against three individuals at the local police station. The police have arrested the school's headmaster, Md. Imam Ali Ansari, while continuous raids are being conducted to apprehend the other two accused teachers.
Krishnabrahm Station House Officer (SHO) Chandan Kumar confirmed the headmaster's arrest. Police are conducting raids at suspected locations in search of the other named accused. Simultaneously, various aspects of the entire matter are being investigated.
It is reported that the school's headmaster, Md. Imam Ali Ansari, had been nominated for a state-level award to be conferred on Teachers' Day (September 5). Consequently, action was taken regarding the proposed Teachers' Day honor; acting on a letter from District Magistrate Sahila, the Education Department removed the accused headmaster's name from the list of awardees.
Allegations suggest that despite long-standing knowledge of the incidents involving female students, the matter was not treated seriously, and attempts were made to suppress it. However, the police and the concerned department are currently investigating these allegations. The case has taken a new turn following the registration of an FIR and the headmaster's arrest.
