FIR AGAINST 11 NAMED PERSONS

BUXAR--------------------------In a significant move following a traffic blockade on NH-922—triggered by a road accident near Sahopada within the Industrial Police Station area—the police have named 11 individuals as accused. An FIR has been registered at the Industrial Police Station, and raids to arrest the accused have commenced.

According to the police, the named accused include Ankur Pandey (son of Shekhar Pandey), Amit Pandey (son of Guddu Pandey), Dharmendra Ram (son of Muni Ram), Pratik Pandey (son of Rakesh Pandey), Rakesh Pandey (son of Baleshwar Pandey), Tejnarayan Pandey (son of Awadhesh Pandey), Bimlesh Pandey (son of the late Lalan Pandey), Rajkishore Pandey (son of Vidyanand Pandey), Kallu Pandey (son of Chhatthu Pandey), and Omprakash Ram (son of Surendra Ram)—all residents of Sahopada village (under Industrial Police Station)—along with Aman Kumar (son of Shankar Paswan), a resident of Churamanpur (under Industrial Police Station).

It is noteworthy that after 40-year-old Mukesh Pandey, a resident of Sahopada, died following a collision with an unidentified Scorpio vehicle, an agitated crowd placed his body on NH-922 and blocked the road. During the protest, the National Highway remained completely obstructed for hours as demonstrators burned tires and set up bamboo barricades; this resulted in long queues of vehicles on both sides and caused immense inconvenience to travelers.

Suresh Kumar Singh, the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Industrial Police Station, stated that an FIR has been registered on charges of blocking the road and obstructing official duties. Raids to arrest the named accused are underway. Appealing to the public, he emphasized that blocking roads is a criminal offense.

Such blockades cause severe hardship to patients, ambulances, examinees, and individuals traveling for urgent matters. He urged people to present their demands to the administration through peaceful and lawful means. The police stated that further investigation into the matter is ongoing, and necessary legal action will be taken based on the available evidence.
