ARA----------------------------Bhojpur Police is fully committed to maintaining law and order in the district and ensuring the safety of the lives and property of ordinary citizens. In this context, the Bhojpur Police are compiling a comprehensive list of all land mafias, narcotics traffickers, criminal syndicates, and their accomplices involved in land disputes, extortion, and illegal encroachments within the district.

Strict legal action is being taken under a special campaign against any individual linked to these syndicates—whether directly involved in the crime or indirectly assisting through financing, providing shelter, or managing *benami* (proxy-held) properties.

During this process, it has come to light that habitual offenders Khurshid Qureshi (son of Jameel Qureshi; resident of Kasai Tola, Ara Town Police Station) and Dhanji Yadav (son of Lal Bahadur; resident of Sheetal Tola, Ara Town Police Station) have been active in criminal activities such as land disputes, extortion, illegal possession of weapons, attempted murder, and creating an atmosphere of fear among the general public.

Citizens are advised to rely solely on legitimate legal procedures and revenue or judicial forums for any land transactions or the resolution of property disputes. Do not attempt to resolve disputes or pay extortion money through anti-social elements, gangs, or syndicates.

If the aforementioned individuals, their syndicates, or any other anti-social elements attempt to interfere in land disputes, demand extortion, issue threats, or carry out illegal encroachments, please inform the police immediately. The Bhojpur Police will keep the identities of complainants and witnesses strictly confidential and ensure their complete safety.

(1) Strict punitive action, including charging them as co-accused, will be taken under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Bihar Control of Crimes Act, and other relevant legal provisions against any individuals who provide assistance, engage in financial transactions with, or offer shelter to these criminals and their syndicates. (2) No individual attempting to illegally occupy land—or facilitate such occupation—by leveraging a syndicate will be spared.
