The two-day fourth Bihar State Conference of the All India Kisan Mazdoor Sabha (AIKMS), held at the 'Comrade Shankar Singh Auditorium' of Mahatma Phule Medical College and Hospital in Sasaram, concluded successfully today, September 6, 2026, with a resolve to strengthen the organization and undertake new struggles. Following the inaugural session held yesterday (September 5), the delegate session commenced, where hundreds of representatives from various districts of Bihar deliberated on several crucial issues.

SASARAM---------------------------The two-day fourth Bihar State Conference of the All India Kisan Mazdoor Sabha (AIKMS), held at the 'Comrade Shankar Singh Auditorium' of Mahatma Phule Medical College and Hospital in Sasaram, concluded successfully today, September 6, 2026, with a resolve to strengthen the organization and undertake new struggles. Following the inaugural session held yesterday (September 5), the delegate session commenced, where hundreds of representatives from various districts of Bihar deliberated on several crucial issues.
This document was presented by the organization's All India General Secretary, Comrade Dr. Ashish Mittal. He highlighted various challenges facing the country's farmers, such as the threat of anti-farmer Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) under US pressure, the dismantling of MGNREGA, rising cultivation costs coupled with the lack of fair Minimum Support Price (MSP), reduced government procurement of grain, the corporatization of agriculture, and the failure to provide agricultural and residential land to the landless. After delegates shared their views, questions, and suggestions—and the leadership provided responses—the document was passed unanimously.
This was presented by the State Committee General Secretary, Comrade Shambhu Prasad Singh. Several delegates offered suggestions and criticisms regarding it. Following a lengthy discussion, Comrade Shambhu Singh responded on behalf of the outgoing state executive committee. Assurances were given that the new executive committee would develop the movement more effectively in the future, taking the delegates' suggestions and criticisms into account; subsequently, the report was unanimously approved by the delegates. Finally, on behalf of the delegates, thanks were extended to the volunteers of the organizing committee and the members of the Lok Sangharsh Morcha for the successful conduct of the conference.
Pledging to wage militant struggles for their demands, the conference concluded amidst thunderous slogans such as "Long live the farmers' struggle," "Fight for land, livelihood, and employment," and "Mobilize against the corporatization of agriculture."
