ARA---------------------------Under the guidance of Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania, Bakhorapur Panchayat is among the select few in the district being developed into a "Model Panchayat," with a focus on rural development, robust infrastructure, sanitation, service delivery, and public participation. Various government services are being made available to the public at a single location within the Panchayat building complex. Facilities such as the RTPS counter and other public utility services ensure accessible and efficient service delivery for the villagers.
The building is equipped with amenities such as clean drinking water, toilets, proper seating arrangements for visitors, and necessary facilities for public representatives and staff to discharge their duties. Through the coordinated efforts of public representatives and the administration, the prompt and high-quality resolution of public grievances at the Panchayat level is also being ensured.
A Waste Processing Unit (WPU) has been established near the Panchayat Sarkar Bhawan; this is a significant initiative towards solid waste management and maintaining a clean rural environment. This system reflects the Panchayat's commitment to cleanliness and sustainable development.
In this context, the District Magistrate inspected Bakhorapur Panchayat today. During the inspection, he reviewed the public amenities and infrastructure available at the Panchayat building complex and interacted with Panchayat representatives and local villagers to gather information on ongoing development works and service delivery mechanisms.
He expressed confidence that, with the cooperation of public representatives, officials, and local citizens, Bakhorapur Panchayat would be further developed to establish it as a model Panchayat—not just for the state, but for the entire country.
On this occasion, the District Magistrate planted a tree to convey a message of environmental conservation and green development, urging everyone to plant as many trees as possible and ensure their protection.
He stated that similar people-centric and high-quality systems would be extended to other Panchayats in the district, ensuring that the benefits of good governance, development, and public amenities effectively reach every citizen in rural areas.
