ARA--------------------------A young man was stabbed to death on Wednesday morning in Barki Khadav village, under the Sahar police station area, following a land dispute. He succumbed to his injuries while being taken to the Sahar Community Health Centre (CHC) for treatment.
The deceased sustained multiple stab wounds to the head and other parts of the body, inflicted at close range. The incident caused a stir in the village and surrounding areas. Upon receiving the information, the local police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation.
According to reports, the deceased was Vikrant Singh (34), son of Virendra Singh, a resident of Barki Khadav village. He had reportedly been involved in a land dispute with a fellow villager for several months. On Wednesday morning, the dispute escalated, leading to a heated altercation with the accused party.
Subsequently, the accused stabbed him, leaving him severely injured and bleeding profusely. His family rushed him to the Sahar CHC, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The police have since begun further proceedings and are working to apprehend the accused.
