ARA----------------------The Bharat Tiwari case has once again raised the question: what should be our priority regarding any sensitive incident—an impartial investigation and justice, or political gain and a blame game?
Throughout this episode, it often appeared that the primary motive was to discredit the police and the administration rather than to seek justice. If negligence has occurred in any incident, there should indeed be an impartial inquiry and action taken against the guilty. However, engaging in political rhetoric and attempting to whip up a frenzy before the investigation is even complete undermines the judicial process.
Most unfortunate is the fact that an individual's suffering and their family's grief were viewed through a political lens. Turning a sensitive matter into a political tool is detrimental to both society and democracy.
A true tribute to Bharat Tiwari would be an impartial investigation, the punishment of the guilty, and justice for the aggrieved family. While politics has its place, exploiting someone's grief and the struggle for justice for political gain cannot be justified.
The demand for justice must remain paramount, as it is justice that upholds societal trust and the dignity of democracy.
