BHABHUA-----------------------In the Dumri Katri Block of Maksudpur Karariya Panchayat (District Sheohar), a significant step was taken today toward ensuring the prosperity of farmers and securing a fair price for their produce. The wheat procurement process was formally inaugurated under the joint auspices of the Dharavaibhav Farmer Producer Company Limited (FPO)—located at Kajrahan Tola (Lalgarh Par)—and the Food Corporation of India (FCI).

This special occasion witnessed the presence of high-ranking officials from the Food Corporation of India (FCI), with the Zonal Head, DGM, AGM, and Area Head featuring prominently among the attendees. Center In-charges, Avneesh Kumar and Abhishek Kumar, extended a warm welcome to all the visiting dignitaries by presenting them with bouquets and gifts.

During the program, officials addressed the assembled farmers and shared key information:

Wheat is being procured at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹2,585 per quintal, as fixed by the Government of India.

The objective of this center is to provide direct benefits to small and medium-scale farmers, thereby eliminating their need to rely on middlemen to sell their crops.

The event was attended by a large number of farmers and villagers from Maksudpur Karariya Panchayat, alongside the Directors and Managers of the FPO. Officials urged farmers to clean and prepare their produce before bringing it directly to the government center to avail themselves of the fair price determined by the government.
