ARA (RNI) Under mounting police pressure, two named miscreants Aditya Kumar and Prashant Kumar of Ratnadh village in the murder of a youth Chandan Kumar Singh alias Manjhil of the same village at Ratnadh village under Gadhani police station in a dispute over asking for a matchbox to smoke cigarette, surrendered in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) and was sent to jail under judicial custody. Police are preparing to take both of them on remand for interrogation.

Police can interrogate to get information about the main reason of the murder and the weapon. Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that due to pressure and raids by the police, both the accused surrendered in the court. He said that there was firing after a quarrel between two parties at Ratnadh village under Gadhani police station in the late evening over asking for a matchbox to smoke cigarette. Two youths from both the parties died after being shot. Chandan Kumar Singh alias Manjil from one side and Mo Sonu from the other side lost their lives. FIRs were lodged by both the parties in that case. Mo Sonu’s father Vishnu Sah while Chandan Kumar Singh alias Manjil’s brothers Aditya Kumar and Prashant Kumar. Police arrested Vishnu Sah after the incident and a country made pistol was also recovered from him. However, Aditya Kumar and Prashant Kumar from the other side were absconding. Raids are going on to arrest them.
