TRUCK DRIVER CRUSHED TO DEATH ANOTHER DRIVER

BUXAR-------------------------A dispute between two truck drivers within the jurisdiction of the Naya Bhojpur police station took a horrific turn, resulting in the death of one driver who was crushed by a truck at the scene. This incident occurred in Purana Bhojpur on Friday night at approximately 10:30 PM, just as truck traffic resumed following the lifting of the "No Entry" restriction. According to reports, immediately after the "No Entry" period ended, an altercation broke out between two truck drivers over the right of way and overtaking.

The dispute escalated to such an extent that one truck driver parked his vehicle on the roadside, grabbed an iron rod, and advanced toward the other driver with the intent to attack him.

At that moment, the second driver did not stop his truck; instead, he drove the vehicle forward and ran over the other driver. The victim died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Pankaj Yadav (son of Ramayan Yadav), a resident of the Mau district in Uttar Pradesh. Following the incident, police from the Naya Bhojpur station arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. Taking immediate action, the police have seized the truck involved in the incident and have arrested the driver. Station House Officer (SHO) Chandan Kumar stated that the entire matter is currently under investigation and further legal proceedings are underway.
