THE HONOUR AND SELF-RESPECT OF TAR PANCHAYAT ARE NOT FOR SALE: BHAI DINESH

ARA------------------------------Today, in the Pilua Tola of Tar Panchayat, hundreds of villagers expressed their outrage by burning the effigy of the local MLA and Bihar Government's Planning and Development Minister, Shribhagwan Kushwaha, in protest against the deliberate halting of the Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan construction work.

The villagers state that after construction began at the site selected by the district administration, many people even dedicated their homes and land for the building. Now, to claim that "the village is small, poor, and backward, so the Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan will not be built here" is an insult to the honor and self-respect of the entire village.

We want to ask—if the building was to be constructed elsewhere, why wasn't land made available there in the first place? At whose behest is the work being stopped after it had already commenced?

This battle is no longer just about a building; it is a fight for the honor and self-respect of Tar Panchayat and the rights of the people. We will not compromise on our honor and will struggle democratically until our very last breath.

I told the villagers that their fight is entirely just. When the people unite to fight for their rights, victory is certain.

The next phase of the movement will be a massive sit-in protest at the Piro sub-divisional headquarters. Our mass movement will continue until the construction of the Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan resumes at the originally approved site. No compromise on honor; we will secure our rights!
