ARA------------------------------The incident of a broad-daylight shooting at the Piro Registry Office in Bhojpur district is a matter of grave concern. This event clearly demonstrates that the rule of law in the district is eroding, and the fear of the law has completely vanished from the minds of criminals.

Even more alarming is the fact that such an incident occurred precisely when the Honorable Chief Minister's visit to the district is scheduled; this places a serious question mark over the efficacy of the administrative machinery. It makes it evident that criminals are carrying out their nefarious acts with absolute impunity.

I—Bhai Dinesh, former MLA of Jagdishpur (Bhojpur)—urge the government and the district administration to rid the Piro Registry Office of touts and middlemen, and to ensure that its operations are made both transparent and secure. Furthermore, the swift arrest of the criminals involved in this incident must be ensured, and strict punitive action must be taken against them.

If the justice system itself begins to function under the influence of money and political patronage, then the occurrence of such incidents will become inevitable—a scenario that poses a grave threat to the very foundations of democracy.

Therefore, I demand that the police launch a special campaign to make Bhojpur district crime-free, thereby restoring the common citizen's faith in the assurance of safety and justice.
