BHABHUA------------------------The discovery of headless bodies—mutilated and cut into pieces—posed a formidable challenge for the police. Identifying the victims without their heads was a difficult task; however, a tag found on an Anganwadi uniform near the body of one of the children proved instrumental in aiding the police investigation.

In Bihar's Kaimur district, the mystery surrounding the headless bodies—discovered stuffed inside sacks and suitcases—has finally been unraveled. Following the murders, the perpetrators dismembered the bodies and severed the heads from the torsos in an attempt to destroy evidence. Subsequently, they packed the body parts into suitcases and sacks before dumping them into a river and along its banks. Despite the criminals' extensive efforts to erase evidence and conceal the victims' identities, the police ultimately succeeded in unearthing the truth behind the killings. According to reports, the bodies found in the sacks and suitcases belonged to a single family. The deceased include a husband, his wife, and their two children. While the heads of the husband and wife have since been recovered, the search for the severed heads of the two children remains ongoing.

The deceased have been identified as Krishna Murari—a resident of Daharak in Ramgarh—along with his wife and their two children. The police have unlocked and entered the house where the victims and their family were brutally hacked to death, and they have begun the process of collecting forensic evidence. The police have also taken one suspect into custody, who is reported to be the brother of the deceased victim. According to police sources, the crime was executed by a group of three to four individuals acting in concert.

Acting on information provided by the arrested brother, the severed heads of the husband and wife were recovered from the river on Saturday; however, the heads of the two children have yet to be located. On Saturday afternoon, Mohania SDPO Pradeep Kumar confirmed that two severed heads had been recovered, identifying the victims as the deceased Krishna Murari and his wife.

The discovery of headless bodies—mutilated and cut into pieces—had indeed posed a formidable challenge for the police. Identifying them without their heads was a difficult task; however, a tag bearing the name 'Ramgarh Silai Dukaan'—found on an Anganwadi uniform near the body of a child—proved instrumental to the police investigation. The police immediately initiated an inquiry into the Anganwadi centers located in the Ramgarh area.
