BHABHUA-----------------------The identification and resolution of the case involving four headless bodies in the district's Ramgarh area had posed a significant challenge for the Kaimur police; however, the bodies have now been identified. The severed heads of a man and a woman were recovered from the riverbank near Akodhi, while divers continue to search the river for the severed heads of two children. Mohania SDPO Pradeep Kumar, Ramgarh Station House Officer (SHO) Alok Kumar, and police personnel from several other stations were present at the deceased's residence, where a large crowd of villagers had gathered. The deceased have been identified as Krishna Murari—a resident of Daharak in Ramgarh—his wife, and their two children; however, official confirmation is still pending.
After unlocking the deceased's home, the police have begun gathering evidence from the crime scene—the very house where the victims and their family were brutally hacked to death. During the investigation, the police detained a suspect—reportedly the deceased's brother—and are currently interrogating him on various aspects of the case. According to police sources, the crime was executed by a group of three to four individuals. Furthermore, sources suggest that the murder of the entire family was carried out by the brothers themselves.
On Saturday afternoon, Mohania SDPO Pradeep Kumar stated that two severed heads have been recovered and identified as those of the deceased, Krishna Murari, and his wife; he added that the investigation is still ongoing across several key points.
