The deceased has been identified as Tina. According to the police, Tina had married a man named Rohit about two and a half years ago and was living with him in the Nangloi area of ​​Delhi. The police did not find a written suicide note at the scene, but a video was recovered from Tina's mobile phone during the investigation. In the video, Tina appears visibly emotional. She told her father that the responsibility for her daughter, Mona, now lay with him and that the child should not be handed over to anyone else. She requested that her daughter be raised just as her parents had raised her. In the video, Tina is heard making an emotional appeal to her mother. She requested that no one fight over her after she was gone. Describing her marriage as a mistake, she stated that her in-laws were not good people. Tina also mentioned that false allegations were being leveled against her—specifically, that she had harmed her mother-in-law and brother-in-law and practiced black magic. Categorically denying these accusations, she said she had simply wanted to build a small, happy family, but fate had not been on her side. Tina expressed particular concern for her daughter in the video. She appealed to her sister, Gungun, to look after her daughter, Mona, asking her to care for the child like a second mother. Her mental anguish, despair, and broken spirit are clearly evident in her words. The investigation has revealed that Tina had previously alleged harassment and mistreatment by her in-laws. In the video, she claimed to have been subjected to constant harassment. Describing her husband as mentally unstable, she stated that she could no longer continue living with him; however, these allegations can only be verified following a thorough investigation. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. Since Tina had been married for less than seven years, the matter was immediately reported to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in accordance with legal procedure, and an inquiry was initiated. Both the police and the SDM have recorded statements from the deceased's family members. According to investigating officers, while the deceased's mother did not allege dowry harassment, she claimed that Tina's husband, Rohit, frequently assaulted her while under the influence of alcohol. The police are investigating this allegation as well. A case has been registered, and a detailed investigation is underway regarding the allegations made in the video, the family circumstances, and the cause of death.
