ORGANIZATIONAL EXPANSION IN JAN SURAJ

ARA-----------------------------Amidst efforts to invigorate its organizational machinery in Bihar, the Jan Suraj party has taken a significant organizational decision by appointing Abu Affan Farooqui as the State President of its Minority Cell. This appointment comes at a time when the party is actively working on a strategy to consolidate its mass base within the state and expand its outreach to various sections of society.

Abu Affan Farooqui has been active in politics since his student days and is recognized as an articulate, grassroots-level leader. He is a former President of the Aligarh Muslim University Students' Union, where he prominently championed student interests and issues related to education. His active involvement in university politics established him as a prominent figure among the youth.

A lawyer by profession, Farooqui practices in the Supreme Court and is regarded as having a strong command over legal matters. Party sources indicate that this pivotal responsibility has been entrusted to him in light of his extensive experience and deep commitment to social causes.

Farooqui has also been politically active, having previously contested elections as the Jan Suraj candidate from the Kochadhaman Assembly constituency. During the election campaign, he prominently highlighted regional issues and engaged directly with the people at the grassroots level.

Farooqui is considered a close associate of Jan Suraj's architect, Prashant Kishor, and has been associated with him for a considerable period. Political observers believe that his appointment could help the party strengthen its foothold within the minority community, while his youthful image may serve to provide a fresh direction to the organization.
