BHABHUA--------------------------A 12-15 kilometer-long traffic jam has formed near West Khajura, across the Karmanasha River, on the Uttar Pradesh border, to check vehicles carrying sand from Bihar. The traffic jam has disrupted traffic, causing significant inconvenience to patients, tourists, and travelers traveling to Varanasi to purchase daily essentials. Vegetable carts carrying raw materials are experiencing hours of delays and struggles. Seriously ill patients traveling to and from Varanasi for treatment are facing the greatest difficulties. The Bihar government has repeatedly banned illegal sand mining and enacted new laws, yet sand trucks continue to enter Uttar Pradesh. It seems the Bihar government's orders have no effect on the vehicles and owners of these sand carriers. For some days the Bihar government investigates and for some days the Uttar Pradesh government investigates, for some days it stops and then starts again. If the reality of this game is understood then the governments of both the states, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, should not be considered separate due to the collusion of sand mafias
