COURT AWARDED THREE YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT TO TWO

BHABHUA--------------------------The court of Vinay Prakash Tiwari, DJ III, Bhabhua Civil Court, has sentenced Anoop Tiwari, son of Ram Murti Tiwari, resident of Fakrabad police station, Kudra district, Kaimur, and Abhay Kumar Singh, son of Ramanand Singh, resident of Kirhindi police station, Sivasagar district, Rohtas, to three years' rigorous imprisonment after finding them guilty in an Arms Act case. Additional Public Prosecutor Satish Kumar Singh informed that on the basis of secret information, on 31 March 2019, the then Station House Officer of Kudra Police Station, Uday Bhanu Singh, had caught the accused Abhay Kumar Singh with three live cartridges and a country-made pistol near Sukhchain Hotel, west of Khurmabad border. On interrogation, he told that this pistol was given to me by Anoop Tiwari. He also told that Anoop Tiwari had given him the pistol to hide after killing Uday Shankar Pandey, son of Achhaivar Nath Pandey, resident of Fakrabad Police Station, Kudra, District Kaimur. Anoop Tiwari used to sell illegal liquor and Uday Shankar Pandey had got him arrested by informing the police, due to which, enraged, on 20 March 2019, Anoop Tiwari, along with Vishu Choubey alias Pritam, shot him dead near Durga Temple in Kudra. Accused Anoop Tiwari has been found guilty in the murder case and has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the court in which he is serving the sentence and in this case also the court has sentenced him to 3 years imprisonment.
