ARA---------------------------The day is passing amidst immense grief and tension in Bilauti village, located under the Shahpur police station area of ​​Bhojpur district. A somber atmosphere prevails at the residence of the late Bharat Bhushan Tiwari on the occasion of his *Tehravin* (thirteenth-day mourning ritual); however, alongside this grief, deep resentment towards the administration is clearly visible among the locals.

Senior journalist Shrikant Pratyush visited the home of the deceased, Bharat Bhushan Tiwari, and met his mother. During the interaction, she made revelations that have given a new turn to the entire case. With tears in her eyes, she recalled the harrowing scene when the police had surrounded her son.

She recounted that the police strictly prevented her from approaching her son. When she attempted to reach him, a *lathi-charge* was ordered by the DSP, resulting in serious injuries to her. During the conversation, she showed the injury marks on her body, hands, and forehead.

A very serious fact emerged during this conversation: the mother claims that the local Station House Officer (SHO) had persuaded Bharat Bhushan Tiwari to surrender. The DSP and SDM of Jagdishpur were also present at the scene at that time. According to the mother, her son was completely unarmed and had laid down his weapons. Yet, she alleges that despite being unarmed, he was shot on the orders of the SDM.

The mother further stated that her son was targeted right before her eyes. She said that a total of three shots were fired, and the subsequent treatment was utterly barbaric. She claims that even after being shot, her son was subjected to savage brutality; he was mercilessly beaten with the butt of a rifle, and finally, the police loaded him into a vehicle and took him away.
