BHABHUA---------------------------In the case involving the dismembered remains of four decapitated bodies, when the police took the younger brother, Vikas Gupta, into custody for questioning, he confessed to committing the murders in collusion with a friend and his own younger brother. He had grown fed up with his elder brother's behavior.

The mystery surrounding the four decapitated bodies discovered recently in Bihar's Kaimur district has finally been solved. The headless corpses, found stuffed inside suitcases and sacks, belonged to four members of the same family. The police successfully unraveled this murder mystery with the help of a stitching tag found on an Anganwadi uniform near the body of one of the children. The four victims whose bodies were recovered included the parents and their two children. All four were murdered by members of their own household. According to the police, two biological brothers murdered their elder brother, their sister-in-law, and the couple's two children, after which they dismembered the bodies into pieces. Subsequently, they packed the headless body parts into suitcases and sacks and dumped them at two separate locations.

According to the police, the deceased were residents of Daharak village, located within the jurisdiction of the Ramgarh police station. The bodies were identified as those of Krishna Murari, his wife, and their two children. The police stated that the murders were committed following a family dispute. According to reports, on May 5th, Krishna Murari had physically assaulted his mother. In response, his mother contacted her son, Vikas Gupta, who was in Maharashtra. Upon receiving this information, Vikas returned home accompanied by his friend, Deepak Kumar Rajput. On May 7th, while Vikas and his friend Deepak were sitting in a room, Krishna Murari entered the room. The three men began discussing the stock market.

During this discussion, an altercation broke out, prompting Vikas and Deepak to launch a frenzied knife attack on Krishna Murari. Hearing the screams, Krishna Murari's wife rushed in to save him, whereupon the accused murdered her as well. Meanwhile, the two children also arrived at the scene, whereupon the perpetrators brutally murdered them as well. Subsequently, the youngest brother—Rahul, alias Gautam (who is deaf-mute)—dismembered the bodies into pieces using a *tangi* (axe).

The most shocking aspect of this massacre was that while the four victims were being murdered and their bodies hacked into pieces, the deceased's mother and the wives of his two younger brothers were present inside the house, witnessing the entire horrific ordeal. Thereafter, the accused packed the four severed heads and body parts into suitcases and sacks, and transported them on a scooter to dispose of them at two separate locations. The body parts packed in the suitcases were dumped into the Durgavati River near the Ramgarh-Mohania border, while the parts kept in the sacks were discarded near a canal. To conceal the evidence, the blood splattered across the house was washed away, and cement was sprinkled over the floor.
