LETTER TO ARA BAR ASSOCIATION FOR MEDICAL CHECK-UP OF ADVOCATES

ARA------------------------Advocate Vidya Niwas Singh alias Deepak Singh in a letter to the President and Secretary of the Ara Bar Association requesting that, considering the cold weather, free medical camps be organized for the learned advocates of the association, and health check-up camps be conducted with a free medicine scheme.  During this cold weather, those learned advocates who cannot afford medical treatment due to lack of funds should be provided with medical grants from the association.  In recent days, there have been many sudden deaths among the learned advocates of the association.  Keeping this in mind, a resolution should be passed to organize free medical camps and a medicine scheme for the poor learned advocates so that those suffering from health-related problems can receive full support on humanitarian grounds.

Because the association is receiving a lot of income, which you are spending as you please. To date, you have not provided any report on the income and expenditure of the association to the general body of learned advocates. Mr. President, you have been in office for four years, and the Secretary for almost two years.

You have been in office repeatedly, but it is wrong to say that no president or secretary has ever given an account of the income and expenditure. This will not enhance your reputation in the association. In these four years, you have not completed a single project for the association.  The long-awaited projects for the association include a building with chairs and tables for new advocates, air conditioning, Wi-Fi installation, increasing the death benefit amount, constructing proper toilets, providing a safe environment for female advocates, and creating a digital library for young advocates. How long will you continue to engage in caste-based politics and compete for the sacred positions in the association?

Our association is a temple, and it is your responsibility to protect it.

Sir, please complete all the above tasks on a war footing. I will not contest for any position in the elections.

If you wish, sufficient funds are available in the association to carry out all these tasks.

It is my duty to bring the suffering of the general body of learned advocates to your attention. I request you to maintain the dignity of your office.
