LETTER TO THE BAR ASSOCIATION, ARA

When will we finally be free from the corruption prevalent in the courts?  The practice of judicial employees arbitrarily demanding bribes from ordinary clients for judicial work must be stopped. Otherwise, how is it fair to keep ordinary learned advocates waiting until six or seven in the evening?

LETTER TO THE BAR ASSOCIATION, ARA

9-JAN-ENG 5

RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA------------------------------When will we finally be free from the corruption prevalent in the courts?  The practice of judicial employees arbitrarily demanding bribes from ordinary clients for judicial work must be stopped. Otherwise, how is it fair to keep ordinary learned advocates waiting until six or seven in the evening?

Is it fair for court clerks to harass young, learned advocates by arbitrarily demanding bribes in the name of bail checks?

You must put pressure on the judges in the court to stop this exploitation and harassment, otherwise the ordinary learned advocates of the association may take any necessary action, including launching a protest.

According to the Act framed by the Bihar Bar Council, Patna, general elections for the association are held every two years in all Bar Associations of Bihar, following uniform rules.

According to the association's bylaws, the term of the Arrah Advocates Association is ending. The President and Secretary must issue a notification before February 22, 2026, to convene a general meeting of the learned advocates, in which the Chief Election Officer and a three-member committee will be selected by consensus. The association must be prepared to conduct the general election of the District Bar Association, Arrah, Bhojpur, before April 15, 2026.

It is the complete responsibility of the President and Secretary to conduct the election of the Arrah Advocates Association, Bhojpur, according to the uniform rules and bylaws implemented by the Bihar Bar Council, Patna. It is also necessary to present the income and expenditure accounts of the association for the past two years before the general body of learned advocates.
