ARA-----------------------------A grand *Jal Yatra* was organized today in Medapur village—located in the Harigaon Panchayat of Jagdishpur Block, Bhojpur district—to mark the construction of the Sankat Mochan Shri Hanuman Temple and the *Pran Pratishtha* (consecration) *Mahayajna* of the idol of Shri Hanuman Ji. Thousands of devotees—including women, men, children, youth, and the elderly—participated in this auspicious event.

Horses, camels, decorated vehicles, and religious tableaux were the highlights of the procession. The entire area was immersed in an atmosphere of devotion, resonating with the spirited chants of the devotees.

Held under the divine guidance of Mahamandaleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Baba Baijnath Das Ji Maharaj (Tyagi Baba), the *Jal Yatra* commenced at Medapur and reached Karan Tola on the banks of the Banas River, where the ritual of collecting water was performed amidst Vedic chanting and traditional rites.

The villagers of Karan Tola set a remarkable example of hospitality and the spirit of service by welcoming the participating devotees with *sharbat* (sweet drink), water, and sweets. This scene epitomized the Indian cultural tradition that regards service as the highest form of *Dharma* (righteous duty).

Speaking on the occasion, former Jagdishpur MLA Bhai Dinesh stated that a *Yajna* is not merely a religious ritual but a grand festival that conveys a message of peace, harmony, brotherhood, love, and positive energy to society. A *Yajna* purifies the environment, awakens spiritual consciousness among people, and inspires the unification of society.

He remarked that Lord Shri Hanuman Ji is the embodiment of strength, devotion, courage, service, and dedication. The construction of His temple and this *Pran Pratishtha Mahayajna* are matters of pride for the entire region. Such religious events serve to strengthen our culture, civilization, and social unity.
