PATNA-------------------------Today, approximately 450 'JP activists' were honored by J.P. Nadda at the Gyan Bhawan in Patna. These are the activists who went to jail and are currently receiving a pension.

Hundreds—even thousands—were active in the JP movement. Yet, many others were forgotten; there is no trace of them—and I am one such victim. As a journalist, I remained constantly active in the JP movement; I was once beaten with the intent to kill during a lathi-charge on a procession—an act of fascist aggression—and was thrown into a ditch. I was hospitalized in the MLA ward in Patna... JP, Kripalani, and a Russian journalist came to visit me... yet, I was forgotten. I was accorded no importance because I did not go to jail. What kind of misfortune is this?

Going to jail is considered essential, yet despite hovering between life and death, I could not qualify for the 'JP activist' category. What kind of rule is this? Those who leveraged politics got their names recorded as JP activists and are receiving pensions, while those who did not resort to politics remained nameless and unrecognized. They hold no significance...

What kind of discrimination is this? ...This must be rectified.
