BUXAR------------------------Political activity has intensified in Buxar following a major organizational reshuffle undertaken by the Indian National Congress. After being relieved of his duties as District President, former chief Dr. Manoj Pandey proceeded to remove and take home the banners, posters, chairs, and tables that had been installed during his tenure at the party office located on the city's Main Road.

It is reported that the posters and banners—which had adorned the party office on Main Road for years—were specifically associated with his term in office. Upon stepping down from the post, he personally visited the office to oversee their removal. This sequence of events has become a topic of discussion not only within the city's political circles but also across social media platforms.

Meanwhile, sharing an emotional post on social media, Dr. Pandey described himself as a dedicated party worker and expressed his gratitude to the cadres for the support he received during his tenure. He wrote that, regardless of whether he holds a position or not, his allegiance to the party and its ideology will remain as steadfast as ever.

It is noteworthy that the Congress party recently entrusted responsibilities to new faces within the organization by replacing 53 district and city presidents across Bihar. In this context, young leader Pankaj Upadhyay has been appointed as the new District President in Buxar, replacing Dr. Manoj Pandey.

While there is talk of formulating new strategies regarding organizational activities in the district following this new appointment, the former District President's recent actions have sparked a fresh debate within local politics.
