FEAR PSYCHOSI GRIPS BANARPUR AFTER FIRING OVER SUPERMACY

BUXAR--------------------------A sensation spread across the region on Tuesday afternoon following a daylight firing incident in Banarpur village, under the jurisdiction of the Mufassil Police Station, stemming from a dispute over contractual dominance. The sudden outbreak of gunfire caused chaos within the village, forcing residents to cower inside their homes out of fear.

According to reports, around 12:00 PM, a group of individuals arriving in four to five vehicles reached Banarpur village and opened fire. Following the incident, an atmosphere of terror prevailed throughout the entire village. However, there have been no reports of any casualties resulting from this exchange of fire.

According to local sources, a young man from Jalhara village—who had previously been involved in contracting work at the thermal power plant alongside Banarpur resident Manoranjan Pandey—was now seeking to establish his own dominance in the region. It is alleged that the dispute over contracting rights intensified after Manoranjan Pandey was imprisoned as an accused in the murder case of RJD leader Arjun Yadav. Tensions between the two factions had escalated recently following Manoranjan Pandey's release on bail.

Upon learning of the incident, locals immediately alerted the police. Responding promptly to the information, the Mufassil Police arrived at the scene, brought the situation under control, and initiated an investigation into the matter.

Station House Officer (SHO) Shambhu Bhagat confirmed the firing incident and stated that continuous raids are being conducted to apprehend the accused. He assured that all the accused individuals would be arrested shortly. Currently, the police are engaged in a thorough investigation of the entire case, and heightened vigilance is being maintained in the area to ensure the preservation of peace and order.
