ARA----------------------------Addressing the two-day speech competition titled "The Role of the People in 'Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah'" (May All Be Happy)—organized on Friday by the Dr. Jaya Jain Educational and Social Welfare Trust at the local Maina Sundar Dharamshala—former Minister and Arrah MLA Sanjay Singh Tiger spoke as the Chief Guest. He remarked that while the theme is vast in scope, its essence lies in setting aside the darker aspects of life and embracing its uplifting side. "We are born in a land where even an ant is offered sustenance," he stated. "We have witnessed the era of the COVID-19 pandemic; we have witnessed the Kargil War; and we have witnessed the war against Pakistan—times when women went so far as to sell their own jewelry for the sake of the nation. We must shoulder the responsibility not only for ourselves but also for society and the nation." The program was presided over by Dr. Jaya Jain and anchored by Diwakar Pandey.

During the event, the Trust's President presented cash prizes to the winners of the speech competition: Madhuri Saw, the winner, received ₹25,000, while Zoya Singh, the runner-up, received ₹11,000. More than two dozen participants had taken part in the competition held on April 30. The panel of judges included Dr. (Prof.) Nand Ji Dubey, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Sharma, and Anurag Jain, who had traveled from Mumbai.

On Friday, May 1, all participants were honored with mementos, certificates of appreciation, and other tokens of recognition. During the ceremony, the MLA was also honored with a traditional *Anga Vastram* (honorary stole). Dhirendra Prasad Singh, Dr. Nand Ji Dubey, Aditya Vijay Jain, Atul Prakash, Dr. Kiran Kumari, Mamta Mishra, Renu Mishra, Pappu Sinha, Sushil of 'Bhor', poet Nand Kishore Kamal, veteran theater artist Dr. Anil Singh, Sadhana Srivastava, and others also shared their thoughts and views on the occasion.
