DUMRAON’S NOORI BECOMES CHAMPION

Noori from Dumraon brought honor to Bihar by winning first place in the Extempore competition at the seven-day National Integration Camp (NIC-2026) hosted by Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU).

BUXAR--------------------------"Only those who have life in their dreams can achieve their goals..." This adage has been proved true by Noori, a promising daughter of Dumraon. Noori from Dumraon brought honor to Bihar by winning first place in the Extempore competition at the seven-day National Integration Camp (NIC-2026) hosted by Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU).
In this camp, which ran from February 4th to 10th, Noori mesmerized the judges and participants with her powerful speech on the topic of "The Role of NSS in Nation Building." Representing the entire state of Bihar, she wowed the judges with such eloquence on this platform, known as "Mini Bharat," that she was declared the champion.
At the event, former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain, Panchayati Raj Minister Deepesh Prakash, camp organizer Vinay Kumar, and Dr. Rahul Kumar praised Noori's talent wholeheartedly. Guests said that young people like Noori are the true leaders of a developed India.
Noori, daughter of Irfan Ahmed (a DK College employee), a resident of Purana Thana Dumraon (Nathu Khan Ki Gali), has previously proven her talent at the national level. During the camp, participants also took educational tours to Vikramshila University, Mandar Parbat, and NTPC Kahalgaon.
An emotional Noori, reflecting on her success, said, "India is not just a country on a map, but a soul throbbing with unity in diversity and a spirit of service." Upon receiving news of Noori's historic victory, a wave of joy swept through Buxar and Dumraon. Her father, Irfan Ahmed, mother, Sadrun Nisa, siblings Simran, Tamanna, and Maruf, along with teachers and dignitaries, congratulated her and wished her a bright future.
