DM DIRECTS COMPLETION OF ALL PENDING PROJECTS BY MARCH 15

ARA---------------------------A review meeting regarding the Education Department was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Tanay Sultania. In the meeting, instructions were given to complete all previous projects related to civil works operated under the Education Department by March 15, 2026.

Discussing the subject of degree colleges, the Block Education Officers of Sahar, Sandesh, Agiaon, and Charpokhari blocks were instructed to immediately identify potential schools, excluding PM Shri Model Schools, and provide their list to the District Education Officer within two days so that further processing could be initiated.

Regarding the training of School Education Committee members under Public Participation, it was reported that training has been completed in five blocks of the district, while training is being conducted in the remaining blocks as per the scheduled schedule.

Regarding private schools, instructions were given that the reporting and data entry required by the government through various portals must be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

Regarding landless schools, the District Magistrate directed all Block Education Officers to coordinate with the Zonal Officers and ensure immediate action towards providing land.

The District Education Officer, District Programme Officer (Sarva Shiksha), District Programme Officer (Establishment) and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
