ARA--------------------------On instructions from the Bihar State Legal Services Authority, Patna, in collaboration with the National Highway Authority, a workshop was inaugurated with the lighting of a lamp at the local Vidya Bhawan auditorium in Ara. Panel lawyers and paralegal volunteers were provided with information regarding the legal framework related to land acquisition. Any landowner dissatisfied with the compensation amount could choose the appropriate authority and file their case. District Legal Services Authority Secretary Gautam Kumar, Arvind Kumar, Project Director Abhay Bhushan, Manager Dr. Maurya Vijay Chandra, Standing Council, along with panel lawyers and paralegal volunteers were present on the occasion. To ensure the successful conduct of the upcoming National Lok Adalat on March 14, 2026, a meeting was held with all police station in-charges at the Civil Court, Ara, where they were instructed to ensure timely service of court-issued notices. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Prosecution Officer and Manik Kumar Singh were present on this occasion.
