DELIMITATION OF PANCHAYAT AREAS
The Panchayati Raj Department of the Bihar Government has taken a significant decision regarding the formation and delimitation of Panchayat areas. According to the press note issued by the department, the formation and delimitation of Gram Panchayats, Gram Panchayat territorial constituencies, Panchayat Samiti territorial constituencies, and Zila Parishad territorial constituencies will be carried out based on 2011 census data, in accordance with the provisions of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006.
