PATNA-----------------------Upendra Kushwaha has clarified the situation regarding Bihar government minister Deepak Prakash. He urged everyone not to harbor any misconceptions or pay heed to the rumors circulating about Deepak Prakash. Let us find out what he said.

Deepak Prakash will continue to serve as a minister representing the Rashtriya Lok Morcha. The party's national president, Upendra Kushwaha, has clearly stated that Deepak Prakash will remain a minister as long as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government is in power in Bihar. He conveyed this to party workers during the Rashtriya Lok Morcha's national convention held at the Constitution Club of India in Delhi. Kushwaha told his workers there was no need for any confusion; they could rest assured that Deepak Prakash would remain a minister as long as the NDA government continued in Bihar.

Notably, Upendra Kushwaha was re-elected as the national president for the upcoming term (2026–29). Pramod Kumar Suman, the national returning officer appointed for the party's organizational elections, handed over the certificate to Upendra Kushwaha and announced his re-election to the post. While appreciating former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's contribution to Bihar's development, Kushwaha remarked that extensive work still needs to be done in the state across sectors such as education, health, industry, and employment. The party demanded that top priority be given to curbing the migration of youth from Bihar and expanding agro-based industries.

Kushwaha reiterated the demand for a review of the current collegium system to ensure transparency in judicial appointments and for the creation of an Indian Judicial Service (IJS) modeled on the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The party emphasized the need to ensure social justice, transparency, and equal opportunity within the judicial system. Concerns regarding the delimitation exercise proposed for 2026 were also raised during the convention. The party demanded that the determination of Lok Sabha and State Assembly seats... .be based on actual population figures, and states like Bihar should receive their fair share of political representation. Additionally, a demand was made to ensure representation for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities in proportion to their current population.
