ARA----------------------------To intensify resistance against the rising fascist attacks and the 'Bulldozer Raj' (rule by bulldozers) in the country, the CPI(ML)'s 14th two-day District Conference was successfully held yesterday—March 23-24—on the occasion of the 95th Martyrdom Anniversary of *Shaheed-e-Azam* (Great Martyr) Bhagat Singh. The event took place across two venues: the *Shaheed-e-Azam* Bhagat Singh Nagar (Ramnaresh Ram Auditorium) in Arrah, and the Ramkishore Rai, Gopal Prasad, Ashok Singh, and Shahida Khatoon Platform (Nagari Pracharini Auditorium) in Arrah. Before the conference officially began, the outgoing District Secretary, Jawaharlal Singh—representing the outgoing District Committee—presented a report on the committee's past activities. During the subsequent discussion, 50 delegates participated in the debate, thereby enriching and refining the activity report. The District Conference was conducted under the supervision of a seven-member Presidium—comprising Ramesh Ji, Sanjay Singh, Vijay Ojha, Indu Singh, Qiyamuddin Ansari, Dilraj Pritam, and Sangita Singh—and under the observation of State Committee member Ramadhar Singh.

A new 73-member District Committee was constituted during the conference. As noted earlier, 50 delegates actively participated in the discussions, contributing to the comprehensive nature of the activity report.

The District Conference was formally inaugurated by Kunal, a member of the CPI(ML) Politburo and the party's Bihar State Secretary.

Several prominent leaders were in attendance, including the Chief Guest, Swadesh Bhattacharya—a member of the CPI(ML) Politburo and a senior party leader. Approximately 600 delegates participated in the conference. During the proceedings, in-depth discussions were held regarding the current political situation at both the national and state levels. Furthermore, while evaluating the prevailing political landscape, the conference formulated a plan of action for agitation and struggle aimed at intensifying resistance against the growing fascist attacks across the country and addressing the burning issues facing the public. A comprehensive seven-point political resolution was unanimously passed during the conference. 1. The attacks being carried out against Iran by the US and Israel have created a grave risk of plunging the entire West Asia region into the flames of war. Hundreds of innocent civilians are being killed. The sovereignty of nations is being trampled upon; moreover, this conflict is not confined to a single country but has evolved into a serious threat to global peace, the economy, and humanity itself. This conference demands an immediate cessation of this war.

2. By capitulating to the US-Israel alliance, the Modi government has overturned India's traditional foreign policy—a policy historically rooted in sovereignty, mutual cooperation, and friendship. Global trade and foreign policy decisions are now being dictated at the behest of the United States. This conference strongly condemns the Modi government's shameful capitulation to US imperialism and demands that the government adopt an unequivocal stance against war and in favor of national sovereignty and global peace.

3. The proposed UGC regulations aimed at combating caste-based discrimination within educational institutions have been stalled. Standing in solidarity with the ongoing student and youth movement against this delay, this conference demands that the Modi government immediately implement these UGC regulations, modeled after the 'Rohit Act.'

4. Following the precedent set in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar is poised to become the new laboratory for 'Bulldozer Raj'—a regime characterized by the arbitrary use of bulldozers. This conference vehemently opposes any such bulldozer-driven actions aimed at displacing the poor and resolves to resist such measures through collective public resistance.

5. This conference strongly condemns the rising incidents of violence and sexual assault against women and girls, demanding that the government guarantee their safety, dignity, and equal rights.

6. This conference expresses deep concern and outrage regarding the escalating attacks against Dalits and demands that such atrocities be brought to an immediate halt. 7. This conference strongly condemns the attempt in Bihar to target the poor—predominantly from the Muslim community—who are engaged in the trade of meat and fish, under the pretext of regulating their open-air sale; it demands the immediate withdrawal of such measures. The District Conference concluded with an 'International Song Conference.' This information was conveyed to journalists via a press release issued by Dilraj Pritam, the District Office Secretary of the CPI(ML).
