CONG PRESIDENT QUESTIONS EDUCATION SYSTEM

ARA------------------------------Dr. Shridhar Tiwari, District President of the Bhojpur District Congress Committee, held a press conference at Shahid Bhawan, Ara. Raising questions about the country's education system, he remarked that the state of education today is akin to being in the ICU. Addressing the concerns of students, he noted that education is becoming increasingly expensive; issues such as paper leaks, high costs of education, and unemployment are driving the general public—and particularly the poor—towards devastation and ruin. Acting as a puppet in the hands of capitalists, this government is ruthlessly exploiting the middle class, the poor, and farmers. There is an urgent need to reform and simplify the vocational education system. Even in general undergraduate courses, the introduction of a semester system has led to students being charged enrollment and examination fees six times over the course of a three-year program. Pursuing a general undergraduate degree now costs approximately fifty to sixty thousand rupees—an amount beyond the reach of the poor and middle-class sections of society. Against this backdrop, our leader, Shri Rahul Gandhi, is engaging with students across the country to expose the government's rampant profiteering regarding paper leaks, exorbitant vocational and technical education costs, and medical courses. In line with this effort, we are holding this press conference today to alert the students and youth of Bhojpur district about this government-sanctioned exploitation.

Key individuals present at the press conference included Media In-charge Virendra Mishra, Chitaranjan Munna, Youth District President Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Nagendra Mishra, Golu Tiwari, Saket Tiwari, Monu Singh, Chandan Singh, and Manoranjan Yadav, among others.
