-A meeting of the Bihar State Primary Teachers' Association (Gop Group, Bhojpur) was held at Upgraded Middle School, Ahirpurwa (Ara Town Block), under the leadership of District President Krishna Singh Bimal. During the meeting, support was expressed for the decisions taken by the state committee and for the following demands:

ARA-------------------------A meeting of the Bihar State Primary Teachers' Association (Gop Group, Bhojpur) was held at Upgraded Middle School, Ahirpurwa (Ara Town Block), under the leadership of District President Krishna Singh Bimal. During the meeting, support was expressed for the decisions taken by the state committee and for the following demands:
**Charter of Demands**
1. The outstanding UTI contributions for 58 months for contractual teachers (*Niyojit Shikshak*) must be deposited immediately. Although the state government has already allocated the funds to all districts, the UTI contributions have not yet been received by the contractual teachers.
2. Outstanding EPF deductions for contractual teachers must be updated.
3. Outstanding EPF deductions must be updated for teachers who have transitioned from the contractual category to the *Vishisht* (Special), *Vidyalaya Adhyapak* (School Teacher), and *Pradhan Shikshak* (Head Teacher) categories.
4. Service books must be updated for teachers across all categories (contractual, *Vishisht*, *Vidyalaya Adhyapak*, and *Pradhan Shikshak*).
5. All outstanding arrears of every kind must be paid without delay to teachers across all categories (contractual, *Vishisht*, *Vidyalaya Adhyapak*, and *Pradhan*).
6. Urban transport allowance should be granted to teachers in rural areas, just as it is to teachers in urban areas.
7. Benefits of promotion must be granted as soon as possible to teachers across all categories (contractual, *Vishisht*, *Vidyalaya Adhyapak*, and *Pradhan*) in accordance with the service rules.
During the meeting, the following programs were decided upon:
A *Pad-yatra* (foot march) on August 4, 2026, focused on the themes "Save Education – Save the Country" and teachers' issues.
A one-day hunger strike at the district headquarters on September 25, 2026, regarding "Save Education – Save the Country" and teachers' issues. Apart from Krishna Singh Vimal, Rajaram Singh Priyadarshi, Satendra Singh, Manoj Singh, Mantu Kumar, Hareram Singh, Manish Kumar, Kedar Nath Singh, and Dharm Kumar Ram, other teachers were also included.
