BHOJPUR DM FLAGGED OFF THE RBSK TEAM

ARA-------------------------The District Magistrate of Bhojpur, Tanay Sultania, flagged off the RBSK team to conduct a comprehensive TB screening drive across the district as part of the 'TB-Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' (TB-Free India Campaign).

This special screening campaign will run until July 31, 2026. A target has been set to screen a total of 685,647 people in the district for TB. Details of all individuals screened during the campaign will be updated on the Nikshay portal to ensure the timely identification, treatment, and monitoring of patients.

The District Magistrate instructed all concerned departments to execute the campaign in 'mission mode' through mutual coordination and to achieve the set targets within the stipulated timeframe. He also appealed to the general public: if anyone has been suffering from a cough, fever, weight loss, or other TB symptoms for more than two weeks, they should visit the nearest health center for a free check-up and participate in the TB-Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

Officials and staff from the Health Department, including the Assistant Collector, Civil Surgeon, Communicable Disease Officer, and District Program Manager, were present on this occasion.
