RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

SASARAM---------------------------The district administration organized a 'Beti Janmotsav' event at the Anganwadi center in Rajpur block under the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' (Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter) scheme. The objective of this initiative is to celebrate the birth of daughters as a joyous occasion, promote gender equality, and foster a positive mindset towards girls in society. On this occasion, the District Project Manager appealed to the public to celebrate the birth of daughters with pride and happiness and to actively participate in laying a strong foundation for their bright future. The district administration believes that the birth of a daughter is a cause for celebration not just for the family, but for society as a whole. Educated, healthy, and empowered daughters are the cornerstone of prosperous families and an empowered society.

The Women and Child Development Corporation, Rohtas, has urged citizens, public representatives, voluntary organizations, Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, and various government departments to actively support this public awareness campaign to ensure the protection of the dignity and rights of daughters. Mothers of newborn girls present at the event were honored with fruit baskets and baby kits.
