ADMINISTRATION ACTIVE IN ENSURING SWIFT RESOLUTION OF PUBLIC GRIEVANCES

21-MAY-ENG 13

RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA----------------------------In light of the Chief Minister's announcement—and with the aim of translating the pledge of "Respect for All, Ease of Living" (*Sabka Samman, Jeevan Aasan*) into reality in Bhojpur district, as well as ensuring the swift and effective resolution of common citizens' problems—the organization of Panchayat-wise "Sahyog Shivirs" (Assistance Camps) commenced today, May 19, 2026. Today, these assistance camps are being held across a total of 42 Panchayats spanning various blocks of the district, where the timely and effective resolution of public grievances is being ensured through dedicated counters set up by various government departments.

The District Administration of Bhojpur has appealed to the general public to visit these assistance camps in large numbers to seek solutions to their problems, and to also inform their family members and acquaintances about this initiative. The administration has stated that common citizens will no longer need to make repeated rounds of government offices to resolve their issues; instead, officials will now reach their very doorsteps to provide assistance.

Through these Sahyog Shivirs, applications may be submitted regarding complaints, issues, or suggestions related to any government scheme—including those concerning rations, pensions, housing, MGNREGA, land disputes, mutation (transfer of land title), demarcation, caste/income/domicile certificates, electricity, water supply, roads, education, and healthcare.

A date-wise roster for the organization of these Panchayat-level camps has been established by the District Magistrate of Bhojpur, Mr. Tanay Sultania. Furthermore, senior officials from the district headquarters have been deputed to oversee the camps, with specific instructions to ensure their successful operation and to guarantee the timely, high-quality resolution of public grievances. Sub-Divisional Officers have also been directed to monitor the camps falling within their respective jurisdictions.

Counters and stalls representing various government departments have been set up at the Sahyog Shivir venues. Here, in addition to providing information about government schemes, necessary assistance is being extended to citizens to help them avail the benefits of these programs. Officials and staff members from the concerned departments are present at the *Panchayat Sarkar Bhawans* (Panchayat Government Buildings) to receive applications and grievance petitions from the public; applications are also being accepted on the spot. The District Magistrate has issued directives to ensure that personnel are deputed to the venue of the 'Sahyog Camp' (Cooperation Camp) starting 30 days prior to the scheduled date of the event, thereby enabling the general public to register their grievances in advance. The resolution of grievances received at the camp must be ensured within 30 days from the date of registration; applicants will be duly informed of the outcome, and the details thereof will also be uploaded to the 'Sahyog Portal.'

The District Administration announced that, for any information regarding the Sahyog Camp, members of the public may contact the toll-free helpline number 1100 between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Additionally, the facility to register grievances online is available at any time via the "Sahyog Portal" (sahyog.bihar.gov.in).

The District Magistrate stated that the Sahyog Camp represents a significant initiative aimed at realizing the vision of "Your Government, at Your Doorstep." Through this platform, ordinary citizens will be able to present their issues, grievances, and suggestions directly to the administration, ensuring that these matters are resolved in a respectful and expeditious manner. He further noted that officials from all government departments will be available at a single location at the Panchayat level, thereby enhancing public convenience and further strengthening the accessibility of administrative services.
