A shocking murder occurred on Tuesday in Babhanpura village, under the jurisdiction of the Phulwari Sharif police station in Patna. Deepak Kumar (30), son of Vindhyachal Sharma, was allegedly shot and killed by his uncle, Lalan Sharma. The incident is suspected to be linked to a romantic affair and an ongoing family dispute. The accused fled the scene immediately after the incident. Upon receiving the information, police from the Phulwari Sharif station arrived at the site and initiated an investigation.

According to reports, a dispute had been ongoing between Deepak Kumar and his uncle, Lalan Sharma, for the past four years. Lalan Sharma’s wife alleged that her husband was involved in an illicit affair with his own nephew’s wife. This issue frequently led to arguments between the uncle and the nephew. She stated that several attempts were made to put an end to this affair, but her husband refused to stop.
