WIFE LODGED FIR AGAINST THE DRIVER

PATNA-----------------------A new twist has come to light in the murder case of Dr. Vimal Kumar, Executive Officer (EO) of Dehri-Dalmianagar Municipal Council. The deceased's wife Babita Kumari has filed an FIR against his driver, Mithlesh Kumar, resident of Kaua Khonch Suara of Dehri police station area of ​​Rohtas district.

Giving information about the case on Sunday, IG Vikas Vaibhav said that the police is investigating the murder from all aspects and the conspiracy behind the incident is being ascertained. The weapon has been confiscated. According to the information, Dr. Vimal Kumar was returning from Dehri to Patna in his personal car late on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, criminals overtook his car and stopped it near Dhanoti bridge located in Barun police station area of ​​Aurangabad district. After this the criminals captured the driver and brutally attacked Dr. Vimal Kumar.

Initially there was talk of murder by shooting, but according to doctors, marks of sharp weapons and severe assault were found on his body. In a seriously injured condition, he was taken to Narayan Medical College Hospital in Jamuhar, where doctors declared him dead.

As soon as information about the incident was received, senior police officers of Aurangabad and Rohtas districts reached the hospital and started investigation. The police is trying to get to the bottom of the case on the basis of nearby CCTV footage, role of the driver and other technical evidence. The reason behind the murder is not clear at the moment.

Dr. Vimal Kumar was a native of Sherghati in Gaya district, while his family currently lives in Patna. He is survived by his wife, a daughter and a younger son. As soon as the news of the murder was received, there was chaos in the family. The wife and children are in bad condition, crying. The family members immediately reached Sasaram, where the post-mortem of the body was conducted at Sadar Hospital.

There is a wave of mourning due to this incident in the entire area including Sherghati. Administrative officials, public representatives and local people have expressed deep sorrow over the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and strict action.
