WELDING TECHNICIAN ELECTROCUTED TO DEATH

ARA---------------------------A welding technician died after suffering an electric shock at a welding shop near 'Brahm Baba' in Tirthkaul village, under the Sandesh Police Station area. He succumbed while being taken to the Sandesh Referral Hospital for treatment. The incident caused a stir in the surrounding area.

According to reports, the deceased was Abhishek Sharma (25), son of Shivaji Sharma and a resident of Kosihan village under the Chandi Police Station area. He was a welding technician by profession. His cousin, Harendra Kumar Sharma, stated that Abhishek worked at the welding workshop near 'Brahm Baba' in Tirthkaul village.

On Monday afternoon, while he was drilling into a piece of iron at the shop, he suffered an electric shock and fell backward, sustaining a severe injury to the back of his head. Subsequently, the shopkeeper took him to the Referral Hospital for treatment, where the doctor declared him dead.

Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and had a post-mortem examination conducted at Sadar Hospital. The deceased was the second of two brothers and one sister. He had been married a year and a half ago to a woman from Shahpur village, under the jurisdiction of the Shahpur police station. His surviving family includes his mother, Saraswati Devi; his wife, Kamalvati Devi; a brother, Suraj Sharma; and a sister, Pooja Devi. The incident has plunged the deceased's household into grief; his mother, wife, and all other family members are inconsolable.
